Wii Bowling Tournament at The Adult Community Center

We were all smiles before the Tournament on the drive to The Adult Community Center. We were hoping the ending of the Tournament would be different than the last game.

The Elms would like to Thank Mayor Andy Klien for showing his support today. Cheering on both teams; talking to all the people who came out to show support for their friends and family.

Anna welcomed The Elms and introduced both teams and "wii" were off and bowling.
Jeanne had a strike or two. George bowled a Yahtzee(5 strikes in a row), however we still cam up short. The Elms believes we will beat them one day.

Practice last night for Bowling Tournament today

Some of the residents are practicing bowling, while the other residents enjoy watching and cheering them on, just finishing up their tea.
We can't wait till this afternoon at The Adult Community Center.
"Wii" Believe in our Bowling Team!!! Alyce, Irene, George, Ruth, Karen, and Jeanne.

Fran, Goldie & Paul like the music at the party.
Karen, Jeanne & Deborah enjoyed the Mojito, non-alcoholic of course. Thank you Deborah for your help at the party!

Still Practicing at The Elms for the Wii Bowling Tournament

Jeanne is ready for the bowling match.
We are all looking forward to the bowling match coming up in two week, March 30th at 2pm at the San Carlos Adult Community Center.

Our Memory Program Participating in Memories in the Making

As a part of the Memories in the Making program , residents with no art background can create art to regain the ability to communicate while boosting self-esteem and opening the channels of communication with loved ones.
Lida is sitting in front of a picture, but when asked what she has painted she replies "faccia".
Which after looking at the picture is Italian word for face. Great job Lida!

Bingo Time at San Carlos Elms

We take Bingo very seriously at The Elms. Just kidding, we have a great time, but you do hear the sighs when someone else wins other than you.

Happy 95th Birthday Jean from San Carlos Elms

Jean's family came and threw Jean a lovely Birthday party. Surrounded by friends and family they played games and showed off some of her art work she had done in the past. Her daughters made cobbler pies, served ice cream, and drinks to everyone who attended.
Thank you.
Happy Birthday Jean!!!
