Latest News from San Carlos Elms and Grove

Once a month we go out to lunch, today we went to Johnny Rockets and had a great time! Ruth enjoy devouring her root beer float.  While Dorothy enjoyed her milk shake. Elizabeth enjoyed her milk shake too. Nellie looks like she wishes she had ordered one too, silly Nellie.

This was an active month for our Residents in our Memory Program. Enjoy the following pictures below.   The ladies enjoyed a lovely St. Patrick's Day celebration   Carol & Marie cheers to the green holiday.  Shirley looks for a song she can play to brighten the celebration.   Then, we go to our monthly get together lunch we all the Resident attend and their families are invited to attend. Carol Mae is enjoying her painting time during Memories in the Making.   Billie is showing off her hair and hopes it turns out curly.   Marie loves to toss the rings, no cheating Marie.   We all enjoy Bingo here, the prize CANDY!!!     Marie looks like she needs a break from a long day of activities. Lida is enjoying her book.    Dorothy & Marie are indulging in their ice cream social. Lida is too. Children's Place came to visit this month to sing, then they color...

We just finished a wonderful celebration of St. Patrick's day with drinks, treats, music, and some traditional Irish Dancing. It was a fun filled afternoon socializing with everyone. Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!  

Last night San Carlos Elms showed their support for the City of San Carlos at their annual State of the City Address. Mayor Mark Olbert did a wonderful job along with his panel of questions and answers on how he can improve San Carlos. It was a fun evening with a lot of people showing their support for the city they love. Thank you to the Aviation Museum for putting on a great event.

The Jester came out at San Carlos Elms and none of us could fight him off. We all had a blast posing as the Jester of Mardi Gras.
