Louise has spent 100 years in this world. If you know Louise you are a very lucky person. She is a woman who would make you laugh, smile and tell you like it is. Louise had many family, friends and staff all wishing her well on her special day.  She received many cards and flowers on this special day.       Happy Birthday Louise!

Memory Care Family & Caregiver Support Group   The Memory Care Support Group will be July 10th at 12:30 in The Grove Family Room. Support Groups will be held on the second Wednesday of every month following the Get Together Lunch.   RSVP~ June #650-595-1500 or jwider@scelms.com  

Harold and Doris enjoy exercising.  So do Beth and Marie.  Elisa enjoys singing.  Mary always has a smile for the camera.  While Lida adds a wave to the camera.  Emmie enjoys the company of a volunteer and Curley.  Lida enjoys the company of her family on her Birthday.

On Friday Denise and Nancy came to celebrate with their mom, Ann on her 91st Birthday.   Ann was ready for the festivities.  So was Harold, and Marie.  Just look at that cake. Just what Ann wanted nothing but chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate.  They had a great celebration in our Memory Program.  Ann made her wish... And they all got their cake.   Hope you had a GREAT Birthday Ann!      

Every month we select a local restaurant to dine at for lunch. Today we had a wonderful time laughing out at lunch.  

Michael the owner of Donna's Hallmark on Laurel St. is retiring this week. Michael holds a special place here at San Carlos Elms. Not only do all the residents and staff shop at his store with all his lovely staff, but he always managed to find time to donate items to San Carlos Elms for games, our volunteers, and our staff. As a thank you the residents made Michael a card with their pictures on the front and back. San Carlos Elms made sure he received a proper gift. Thank you Michael enjoy retirement!   

On Father's Day at San Carlos Elms we distributed Chocolate Cigars to each of our fathers. Thanking them for being the best Fathers and Grandfathers they could be.       Ode to a Dad   Dad you made me who I am today. You made it possible for me,    Not to give up on Love,     partying in new places,  able to laugh at myself and making other laugh too, to enjoy the finest things in life,  try new sports,  always count on your family, and taught me how it is always fun to make new friends.    Thank you dad for shaping me into the person I am today.

We had a wonderful BBQ today with family, friends, staff, plenty of great food, accompanied by music, and fun! Thank you to everyone that help set up the party, and participated in celebrating our 17 years of being open. We are happy to be here and hope to be here for many more.
