San Carlos Elms Lunch Outing for July
Each month we enjoy an afternoon out on the town. Today we enjoyed the little things in life. Each others' company and how to have a GREAT time while waiting for your food.
With the help of Jim below, Carolyn was able to enjoy her word search.
Jim at work again retrieving another menu for Alyce.
Alyce & Kathleen enjoyed a game of Tic, Tac, Toe before Alyce started to color.
We all enjoyed our lunch out and are looking forward to our next lunch outing.
San Carlos Elms Enjoyed an Ice Cream Social
Yesterday we celebrated a warm afternoon in the whole building of San Carlos Elms by enjoying a bowl or a glass of ice-cream. We had all the fixing's, each resident enjoyed creating their own sundae with their friends around. It was a great afternoon of fun.
But, the fun didn't stop in the assistant side of San Carlos Elms they also had a great ice-cream social in our Memory program too.

Lets take a look into the Memory Program this Month at San Carlos Elms
Well it is July so it looks like The Grove, The San Carlos Elms Memory Program, had their own party!
Harold looks like he is enjoying his drink.
Fran is having fun at the party.
Ann is enjoying the party with her volunteer friend.
The Residents enjoyed their time with family, volunteers and staff.
During the hot week we couldn't get enough ice-cream in the shade.
Nina loves hugs from the staff, our Activity Leader Ismary.
Marie enjoys relaxing between activities.
Buddy visits his father, Bud when ever he has the time.
But that doesn't stop him from enjoying time with the rest of the Residents, like Fran.
Two of our volunteers joined our Residents in snack time with a little bit of Poetry Reading out on the Patio.
San Carlos Elms would like to thank ALL of our volunteers!
This summer a lot of new volunteer faces have come in and brightened up our Residents days.
