San Carlos Elms Goes Out to Lunch

Today a small group of Residents went out to Max's for lunch with the Activity Director and the Driver. You know the food is good when the food arrives and the talking stops.
Thank you Max's.
Helen and our Driver, August had a fun time.

A lot of laughs.

Activity Director, Kathleen and Bill had fun too.

August couldn't go with out taking a picture with Harriet.

Let's See San Carlos Elms Memory Care Program, What are They Doing Now?

Here is another close look into our Memory Care Program. Just a few of the activities the Residents enjoy.
Dennis loves to go for a walk to the pool table and shoot a game or two.

Lillian and Larry stretching their muscles.

Harriet & Larry concentrating on their paintings.
Anne is concentrating too.

Halloween is just around the corner. Time to start decorating with our freshly cut out pumpkins.

Becky loves to give our house dog, Curley a walk. I think Curley enjoys it too.

San Carlos Elms Celebrate a Milestone Birthday for a Resident

Loraine Adams turned 101 years young today! We should all be so lucky to have the family and friend support Loraine has at her age.

Loraine with her son, Larry.

Loraine happy with her strawberry short cake.

Loraine was able to blow out her candles all by herself.

She even cut the first piece.

All of her friends came to share this special occasion with her.

Loraine had a wonderful 101st birthday!
Congratulations Loraine!!!!

Our volunteer Lindsay came to The Elms again with a wonderful craft project.
Each Resident was able to design their own flower pot. They also, left with flowers in the pot they designed.
Harriet & Betty are enjoying decorating their pots.

Dolores is concentrating on her project.

Anita is all smiles with her finished project.

Ruth wants to stay in the line.

Caroline is happy with her finished art work.

Memorial Day

This marks a time for all of us to remember those that we have lost. Residents were offered Poppies to commemorate this day.
