St. Patrick's Day Party
The Residents has such a fun time at the St. Patrick's Day party!
We had a full house. We enjoyed sweets, snacks, drinks, music and a little bit of Irish Dancing.
Activity Director, Kathleen asked her sister Colleen to help spread some Irish cheer through dancing.
The Residents were happy to see traditional Irish dancing on St. Patrick's Day.
Colleen & Kathleen had not done this routine for years, but they had fun showing the Residents.
Thank you Colleen & Kathleen for sharing your talent with our Residents.
The Residents had fun pretending to be leprechauns for the afternoon.

Doc Lamott Music Discussion
Description:Bruce 'Doc' Lamott is a professor of music history at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Scholar-in-Residence for Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra. For thirty-six years, he taught music history to high school sophomores in a yearlong interdisciplinary course of music, art, and European history in Western Civilization: History of the Arts, a cornerstone of the academic curriculum at San Francisco University High School. Dr. Lamott is known for his witty and accessible style in lectures for the San Francisco Opera and Opera Guild, the Carmel Bach Festival, and Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, as well as in services and masterclasses for San Francisco Opera's Education Program, California Music Educators, and the Junior Bach Festival.
Dr. Lamott's entertaining and informative presentations include musical
and visual examples, with plenty of opportunity for questions and
interaction with his audiences.
Current Events
Carol is a dedicated volunteer. She lived in San Carlos for many years volunteering as our Current Events leader.
She moved to Ronart Park, but that doesn't stop her visiting us weekly.
Even with technical difficulties from time to time we always make it work out one way or another.

Arbor Bay School Visit
Students from Arbor Bay School made an impression on our Residents and
Staff at breakfast. They made St. Patrick's Day Cards for our Residents.
Helen was so happy with her hand made card.
Margie loved reading her card while waiting for her breakfast
Gloria loved how each card was unique.
Alyce couldn't wait to put hers up in her apartment.
This is the group of students who delivered the cards that were made by all the Arbor Bay School Students.

The Residents and Staff enjoy listening to her music through out the floor.

His voice is so soothing and fun to listen to.

Night Out Dancing
We were happy to be guest at the San Carlos Adult Community Center at their latest dance.
Thank you to the Friends of the A.C.C. for putting on such a fun night with delicious food, great music and dancing.
With the fun theme of Mardi Gras everyone got into character.
The decorations were beautiful.
Dolores had fun dancing most of the night.
She gave Activity Assistant, Ashley a run for her money on the dance floor.
Dolores and Ashley had a great time dancing with everyone.
Gloria had fun swinging to the beat with Kathleen in their seats.
Kathleen and Dolores tried their best salsa on the dance floor.
Everyone had a great laugh during the Mardi Gras dance with towels flying everywhere.
They also had Jacqueline, from Abracadabra, doing wonderful face painting to add to the nightly theme.
Ashley was not afraid to try it out.
Ashley and Dolores were all smiles after their faces were completed.
Gloria was happy to run into her friend Billie.
Patti was all smiles after the night was such a big hit!
