Latest News from San Carlos Elms and Grove

 This month our lunch outing was at Stacks. They enjoy good food and good company.

 Every Thursday, our residents look forward to Social Hour, a wonderful time to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy each other's company. the afternoon is made even more special with piano performed by Mickey, one of our talented residents.

 What a fun evening we had celebrating Oktoberfest! Our residents enjoyed delicious German beer, tasty appetizers and a wonderful music. It was fantastic evening filled with laughter, great company and lots of fun! Prost!

 Thank you, Megha Chawala, for visiting San Carlos Elms and sharing your ideas as a candidate for the School District Board. Our residents appreciated the opportunity to hear about your plans and ask questions. Thank you also for thoughtfully bringing snacks and refreshments for everyone. 

 Our residents had a wonderful time helping us prepare candy bags for the kids! They enjoyed getting into the Halloween spirit and spreading a little sweetness and joy.

Our residents always enjoy singing along with Marilyn. her wonderful music brings smiles, joy, and beautiful memories to everyone.    

This year we extended our annual Walk to End Alzheimer's to Silicon Valley, held at Lake Cunningham Park in San Jose. We wanted to make an impact outside of our tradition and reach more audiences. No matter where we go, we are here to support the Alzheimer's Association, and we had a great time doing it! 💜 We worked up an appetite by walking for three miles, and replenished at In-N-Out Burger 🍔🍟

 Our residents were fully focused and putting their word skills to test during a fun game of Scrabble!

 Our residents enjoyed delicious root beer floats while cheering on the San Francisco 49ers!

Our residents absolutely love Therapeutic Gardening! They are always delighted to see Meghan and excited to discover what new and creative activity she has planned for them.  

 "Sapo" is a very popular game in South America and we recently introduced our residents to this fun activity. Everyone had a wonderful time playing, sharing laughs, and. enjoying some friendly competition.
