San Carlos Elms had Fun Going Out to Lunch

Each month we enjoy getting out to one of our favorite places to eat.
This trip we went to Denny's and had a fantastic time!

San Carlos Elms Celebrates a Milestone Birthday

Bob is one of our newest Residents to reach 101 years young.
Bob had many Family, Friends and Staff to wish him a happy birthday.
Congratulations Bob!!!!
Bob's daughter, Robyn brought in pictures of her father's life for all of us to enjoy.

Gloria wished Bob a Happy Birthday.

Bob asked his Great Granddaughter to help blow out his candles.
But, Bob was able to do it himself.

Elsa, was happy to play "Happy Birthday" for Bob on his birthday.
Robyn helped her father cut the first piece of cake.

Bob had fun dancing with a few of our Residents.

There wasn't an empty seat in the house.
Thank you to all who attended and made this a wonderful celebration for Bob's big day!

Merry Christmas from San Carlos Elms

Our Residents had a wonderful Christmas morning.
They looked for presents under the tree and were surprise with what they found.

Merle was so surprise with her gift. She received a notebook, she loves to write.

Becky loved her socks.

Chuck enjoyed his present and the treats we were serving.

Joan was all smiles with her gift.

Happy Holidays from San Carlos Elms

In our Memory Care Program our Residents were preparing cookies for their families and friends.

Door Decorating Contest at San Carlos Elms

At San Carlos Elms, we have some very talented Residents. They like to show their creativity by decorating their doors for the Holiday. Here are just a few of our doors and some of our winners.
Shirley was our #1 winner this year.

Gene did a great job on his door and shelf.

Betty is our Resident card maker, no surprise her door and shelf look so fabulous.

Holiday Craft Time at San Carlos Elms

The Residents worked so hard this week on their holiday leis they made for family and friends.

San Carlos Elms Enjoyed a Children's Piano Recital

We were honored to have a local piano group perform for our Residents this Holiday Season.
Desiree brought her students to perform some of their favorite holiday music.

Our Residents are enjoying Hanukkah. We were lucky to have Rabbi Corey here this past week to educate our Residents on Hanukkah, about the candles and food that is prepared.

Local Troops Visit San Carlos Elms

We had Troop 62286, Troop 62074, Troop 62553, and Troop 62823  Caroling this week at San Carlos Elms in both our Assisted and Memory Program. Thank you to all the Daisy's, Brownies, and Girl Scout Troops that took time to learn all the holiday songs.
Thank you to all the parents that took time to drive and support all the troops.
Hope to do it again soon.
