Dinner Outing last night for San Carlos Elms

Each month during the Hot Harvest Nights in San Carlos we take the time to enjoy a nice walk down to Laurel St. enjoy the Famers Market. We enjoy the fresh air, the fresh fruit, the music, as we end our evening we enjoy a nice dinner at one of the local restaurants.  
 


 We surprised Carol with a birthday cake just a few days prior to her birthday.

We had a great evening and we look forward to doing it again next month.

 San Carlos Elms was excited and honored to be apart of the Peninsula Multifaith Coalition again this year.  We were worried how it was going to all pan out, but thanks to a fantastic group of leaders and volunteers it was a huge success!!! We started the morning with an opening ceremony on Zoom celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, featuring guest speakers Rep Jackie Speier , Senator Josh Becker ,and Rev Lorrie Owens  President of San Mateo NAACP . Once we all had our history lesson and the power of community through the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. it was time to get to work.  Cards were created for all of our residents and magazines were donated too. Volunteers created and donated beautiful bouquets of flowers.   They are out spreading cheer for both our Residents and Staff. Thank you Peninsula Multifaith Coalition , we hope we can meet in person next year, but what a wonderful job you all did!!!
