San Carlos Elms goes to the Theater
We went to see Cabaret. The talent was incredible! Below are two pictures of us sitting in our seats. How close, you may ask? Close enough to have the blue light from the stage reflect into our picture. It was a fun afternoon.
Hula Dancers visit San Carlos Elms
The residents has a fabulous time yesterday watching all the kids perform dances from different islands. They took us to Samoa, Hawaii, and Tahiti.
The Island of Samoa has their men dance next to the female dancers as they perform.
Grandma helped the girls out, when they got a little nervous, but it made it that much more special for us.
Hawaii is a beautiful dance with a lot of emotion.
Tahitian dance is fast past and had us all cheering.
Thank you for making our Saturday so wonderful! We are looking forward to your visit again during the Holiday season.

San Carlos Elms takes a trip to the Museum of San Carlos
We had a terrific time today at the Museum of San Carlos. We learned that we all had a little history here, and thanks to Bob we all learned so much more today.
We learned that this was not the first fire truck of San Carlos.
That San Carlos had their own cigarette factory.
That in 1947 San Carlos Elms wasn't on the map, well we kind of knew that one.
George felt like he was home when he pick up the wheelbarrow.
Nellie and Carolyn enjoyed looking at the old Chicken's Ball past performance programs and costumes.
We also found out that San Carlos has it's own city flag that has been up in space.
Thank you Bob and all the other volunteers at The Museum of San Carlos for making this such a memorable experience for all of us.
What has San Carlos Elms been up to this September
Today we had a birthday.
Karen celebrated her birthday,
by having her favorite kind of cake chocolate!
Dorothy, showing no love for the Giants, she will always be a Philly's fan.
After Bingo the residents were taking turns on the slot machine trying to win the big prize, a Lunch or Dinner outing.
At the beginning of the month we celebrated with our employee's at our annual Staff Appreciation Day.
It is a wonderful afternoon all about the staff and how much we appreciate all their hard work and dedication. We provide lunch and raffle off some great prizes. Everyone leaves with something.
