San Carlos Elms Cools Down in The Heat

It was so hot today we wanted to make sure everyone was nice and cool. What better way to cool down than with a bowl of ice cream and your favorite toppings.
Ghilda, Caroline, Irene, and Mabel had fun chatting.

Marie was submerged in her chocolate creation.

George was happy to be there and made a bowl to take up to his wife, Estelle.

Margo and Grace smiling for the camera. Margo helped with all the dishes.

Ruth and Dorothy catching up, but Ruth wants more!

Gene enjoyed two helpings.

Walley loved his strawberry ice cream with strawberry sauce.

San Carlos Elms Residents go Out to Lunch

Today we had fun eating out during this heat wave. We enjoyed one of our favorite restaurants Max's.

San Carlos Elms has a new car

The Elms has purchased a new car for our Residents to arrive anywhere in style. The four door Cadillac is an upgrade from our trusty Town car, which provided us plenty of safe drives for the past 14 years. We are all looking forward to as many safe driving years with our new ride.

A Look inside The Memory Program at San Carlos Elms

The Memory Program at San Carlos Elms keeps our Resident busy on a regular basis, from dancing singing, painting, crafting, and socializing just to name a few. Our Residents have a great staff to keep them happy. We have volunteers to help with activities and brighten up their day.
Just look at some of the pictures below.

Happy 4th of July from San Carlos Elms

San Carlos Elms had a fantastic celebration today! We enjoyed cake, drinks, music and each other, while tossing another birthday to America.
Thanks to all the Residents and their families who attended. Also, thanks to the staff who help with the cake and the drinks today. It made the party a huge success. Looking forward to our next celebration.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July!!!
