Here at San Carlos Elms, the Mayor of San Carlos visit's us every month to go over what is being discussed at City Hall.
We love having the Mayor visit us and we appreciate him taking the time out of his busy schedule.
Thank you Mayor Ron Collins for enlightening our Residents and making them apart of their community.

Let's See What San Carlos Elms Memory Care Program has been up to

St. Charles students came to visit with our Residents recently. They sang, told stories, and helped the Residents in a coloring activity.

The students were shocked to hear Jay was 100 years young.

Becky was all smiles when the students wanted to tell them what they were up to at school.

Mary was happy the students stopped by for a visit.

Jay enjoyed his time with the students.

The Memory Care Program was also visited by the Little Petting Zoo.
We had goats, chickens, rabbits, pigs, and lambs it was very exciting.

Norine did not want to give her rabbit back.

Erna wanted to keep hers too.

Curly was happy to have the afternoon off.
So he got his fur done.

San Carlos Elms has a Lecture today on Fall Risk Prevention

Today Bonnie Silverman from Synergy Home Care gave a wonderful lecture on Fall Risk Prevention.
The Residents were all ears while Bonnie spoke and showed her power point presentation.

The Residents took a lot away from this lecture.
Bonnie even had copies of her lecture for all the Residents.
This will be great to go back to read and see what is safe to have in an apt. and what is not.

Thank you Bonnie we look forward to having you back again.
