Little Explorer Petting Zoo Visits San Carlos Elms Memory Program
Every other month we welcome the Little Explorers Petting Zoo into our community.
They Residents love to see and hold all of the animals.
Freida was a little apprehensive about going in with all of the animals.
But happy to see all of them.
Becky loved spending time with her new friend.
This was Frances first zoo experience and she was happy to see all the different animals.
The staff also enjoys the animals with the Residents.
George mad a special trip from the Assistant Living to see the animals in The Memory Program.
Here are just a few of the animals that visited us.

San Carlos Elms Visited by Rabbi Corey
Rabbi Corey Helfand has been visiting The Ems for the past several months educating all of our Residents on Jewish culture.
This month Rabbi Corey brought in the Torah and discussed the five books of Moses.
Residents loved his talk and are looking forward to his next visit.

Happy Father's Day from San Carlos Elms
Today we are celebrating a sensational Father's Day.
Let's see how the Resident fathers enjoyed their gifts today from The Elms.
All the men enjoyed their chocolate cigars in different ways.
Both Bob's enjoyed their chocolate cigars.
Bill took his cigar out to lunch with his daughter Judy.
Allen is looking forward to a relaxing day.
Red can't wait to take a bite out of the cigar.
Bud will eat his when the Warriors win.
George is looking forward to seeing his family at lunch today.
Herb likes the chocolate.
Don loves his chocolate.

Arundel School Visits San Carlos Elms
This morning, the kindergarten class from Arundel school performed their version of the "Three Little Pigs" for our Residents.
The Residents were so impressed how they memorized all of their lines and performed so well.
We look forward to the students visiting us again soon.

San Carlos Elms Celebrates 20 Years Today
We can hardly believe it! We have had our doors open now for 20 years,
providing excellence in care and services to our Residents. Today we
celebrated with our Residents, their families, our staff and their
families. We had a beautiful day to take advantage of dining outside.
Live music, special guest, drinks and wonderfully cooked food. It was a perfect way to mark this occasion.

Becky's family thought the food was delicious.
Mary on Steel Drums was fantastic as always.
Gene was in heaven between two beauties.
Don stated that he might not wash his forehead for a day or two.
Same with George.
Dean Martin was a hit too.
Especially when he sang.
Residents said he brought them back to their time.
Our Executive Director, Scott Evan, also here 20 years even enjoyed having Marilyn here.
Willy was lucky to receive a kiss from Marilyn.
Audrey even made the rounds outside.
The Residents loved feeling like celebrities walking the red carpet today.
Karen was over the moon to have her picture taken with Marilyn.
It was a successful day and a lot of fun. Look forward to the next celebration!
