Year in Review Celebration

Each year we put together a yearbook for our Residents.
This year's celebration we also presented a slide show of all the activities we accomplished in 2018.
We took time to look back at what fun times we had and remember our friends whom are no longer with us.
Residents enjoyed being with their friends, reminiscing and enjoying some delicious food.
The Dietary Department prepared a wonderful spread for the celebration.

Sam & Emily were happy to attend the party.

Florence and Helen cheers for the camera.

Jan was happy to be with her mom Ruth.

Mary was happy to have her family with her.

The Residents enjoyed the slide show put on by the Activity Department.

Shirley enjoyed her glass of champagne while reading the 2018 yearbook.

Margie was pointing out some pictures to Don.

Emily, Bill and Virginia were engrossed by the yearbooks.

This was Helen's first yearbook.

Virginia was so sweet to thank Kathleen and Ashley for all their hard work in the yearbooks, slideshow and party. She said she had a terrific time.
Thank you for all who attended our Year in Review Celebration.
Here is to the start of 2019, lets make it a good one!

Week of the Family

San Carlos Elms was happy to participate in the 20th annual Week of The Family.
This year’s Week of the Family runs January 18th-26th, 2019.
We helped during Week of the Family by making sandwiches for Street Life Ministries and Valentines for our Veterans at Palo Alto VA.
The Residents were excited to have young students and parents in their home to help those in their community.
They made so many beautiful Valentines for our Veterans.

Sheila was happy to help make Valentines Day cards.

Muriel and Marcella wanted to make sure they had time to help.

Fred was happy to help.

Even at 102 years young, Bob was happy to make some sandwiches for those less fortunate.

Thank you to all of our young volunteers who donated their time and talent.
Thank you also to all the parents who helped.
We look forward to next year!!!
