Latest News from San Carlos Elms and Grove

The residents look forward to hearing Conrad perform on his guitar.

 

 The residents appreciate the library bringing books for them to look at and borrow once a month.  Thank you San Carlos Library !  Kay was happy to pick out a book for her husband in the Memory Program and of course one for herself. Bob enjoyed perusing the books.   

The residents always enjoy when Lee Allen comes in to play the piano.  

 We enjoy when Marilyn comes to play.  She has books for the residents so they can sing along with her.  

 The San Carlos Library comes over each month with an art project for our residents. This month they did painting by numbers and thoroughly enjoyed it.  

Each month Darwin comes in with a new literary topic to discuss with our residents.  Today's topic was Mark Twain. 

We all enjoy listening to Maddaline on piano.  

 One of our family members, Betsy came in to tell us about her time at Thula Thula Volunteer Academy in South Africa. We all enjoyed her talk and her photos she brought in to share with us. Thank you Betsy for sharing your experience with us and for sharing your South African candies with us as well. 

 

We enjoyed a wonderful concert put on by the Piano Forte Youth Music group. After their performance they came into the audience and talked to them about their performance.   

 We all enjoyed our In and Out burgers on the patio.
