The Residents were excited to see Mayor Cameron Johnson and hear all the new things happening in San Carlos.

We are so grateful for Mayor Cameron to take time out of his busy schedule to come see our Residents.

San Carlos Elms Enjoys a Root Beer Float Social

During this hot weather, what is better than a root beer float?

The Residents all enjoyed their root beer floats while reminiscing on their earlier years of indulging on this cold beverage.

Ruth was happy we offered seconds.

Bill was happy we had low sugar options to indulge in.

Marcella loved the spoon straws!

Dolores enjoyed hers down to the last drop.

Renate was enjoying her first ever root beer float.

She was telling us that in Germany it is not common, but she thought it was delicious.

San Carlos Elms Enjoys Lunch Out on the Patio

A group of Residents ordered hamburgers, fries and shakes from In-N-Out Burgers today.

We enjoyed them out on the front patio of The Elms under a shaded tent.

We had a wonderful time with good food, friends and laughter.

Muriel invited her granddaughter to have lunch.

Bud couldn't wait for his strawberry shake.

Random Acts of Flowers Visits San Carlos Elms

The Residents enjoyed a special treat the other day. Random Acts of Flowers came and delivered a bouquet of flowers to each of our 89 apartments and brightened the day of each of our Residents.

Random Acts of Flowers recycles and repurposes flowers by engaging dedicated volunteer teams to deliver beautiful bouquets and moments of kindness to individuals in healthcare facilities across the country.

Lindsay is a wonderful volunteer who comes in to Craft with our Residents.

San Carlos Elms Weekend Activities

We have a very active community.

During the weekends the Residents enjoy some of the following activities;

 

Social Tea on the Patio,

Live entertainment (Conrad on Guitar)

or (Shades of Grey) a Residents family,

Mind Exercise,

 

Discussion with Ashley.

These are just a few of the new activities we have started on the weekend.

The Residents are enjoying them. We welcome all who would like to attend.

The Residents enjoyed themselves this afternoon by watching the Serendipity Dancers.

They put on a great variety show for our Residents, Family and Staff.
