San Carlos Elms Celebrates Halloween

The Staff and Residents got into the Halloween Spirit today.
Ailyn & Nellie enjoyed seeing the Residents smile today.

San Carlos Elms Memory Program Celebrates Halloween

The Residents had a busy Halloween.
They had their friends visit from the Children's Place Preschool.
They colored and socialized with the Residents.

San Carol Mayor Stops to Talk to San Carlos Elms Residents

Mayor Cameron Johnson has come in every month this year to keep the Residents informed with the activities happening in San Carlos. He also takes any questions they may have about what is going on in San Carlos.

San Carlos Elms Residents Preparing for Trick or Treaters

The Residents were hard at work making Halloween bags for our trick-or-treaters on Halloween.
Each visitor to The Elms will receive a bag of goodies made by our Residents.

Junípero Serra High School Volunteers at San Carlos Elms

A group of six Junípero Serra High School football players helped the Residents in the library or play games tonight.
 
Sue was very happy to have the extra hands and height to help organize the library books. 

Loraine has found a new challenger for Scrabble.

The Group of Residents took on the volunteers in a great game of Family Feud.
We hope everyone who participated had a fun time.
We look forward to doing it again.

San Carlos Elms Welcomes Young Talented Music Performers

This weekend the Residents enjoyed listening to our musical volunteers.
They have a gift of music and they shared their talents on violin, piano and in song.
We hope to see them again soon.

San Carlos Elms Celebrates a Milestone Birthday




Marie Cadero celebrated her 101st birthday today with friends and staff at San Carlos Elms.

 Marie loved her crown, corsage and flowers.

She also enjoyed her balloons.
 
She indulged in her favorite cake----Chocolate!!!

 Had fun blowing out the candles.

 Henry was masterful playing "Happy Birthday" for all of us to sing along too.

 All Marie's friends came out to wish her a happy birthday!


 Loraine modeled her new ring that was handed out at the party.

San Carlos Elms Goes Out to Lunch

 Rain or shine, can't stop The Elms from having a good time.
We had a fun and delicious meal at Applebee's today.
We had a great time and we are looking forward to going back again.
