Jessica Huckabay from Care Indeed stopped by today and had a fun class on Laughter yoga.
Laughter yoga is a practice involving prolonged voluntary laughter. Laughter yoga is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter. Laughter yoga is done in groups, with eye contact and playfulness between participants.
You can see by these pictures alone how beneficial it was for our Residents and Staff!
Hattie enjoyed getting a shock laugh with Jessica.
Anne, Nellie and Faye were all laughs for the whole session.
Nellie even made up a Tango laugh, while Faye tried for a Jitter Bug laugh.
Even our Staff enjoyed the laughter!!!
Adriana, Osi and David were happy to join in on the laughter.
Thank you Jessica for reminding us just how important and healthy for us to laugh everyday!!!
