Happy New Year from San Carlos Elms

Happy New Year! I hope I got enough cake for everyone. Take a look at our New Year Celebration. We had music, pictures, laughter, and new this year a San Carlos Elms Yearbook.


There wasn't an empty seat in the house. We all had a marvelous time.
Peter and Jeannette were very happy to ring in 2012 with their grand daughter.
The residents had a great time looking at their yearbooks and reminiscing on all the activities they had done in 2011.

 San Carlos Elms was excited and honored to be apart of the Peninsula Multifaith Coalition again this year.  We were worried how it was going to all pan out, but thanks to a fantastic group of leaders and volunteers it was a huge success!!! We started the morning with an opening ceremony on Zoom celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, featuring guest speakers Rep Jackie Speier , Senator Josh Becker ,and Rev Lorrie Owens  President of San Mateo NAACP . Once we all had our history lesson and the power of community through the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. it was time to get to work.  Cards were created for all of our residents and magazines were donated too. Volunteers created and donated beautiful bouquets of flowers.   They are out spreading cheer for both our Residents and Staff. Thank you Peninsula Multifaith Coalition , we hope we can meet in person next year, but what a wonderful job you all did!!!
