San Carlos Elms Goes out to Lunch

 We were so happy to be back at Max's for lunch. 
The service and food is always great!
We were thankful that the rain held off till the evening so we could enjoy our afternoon out.

 Karen enjoyed her lunch. Then, enjoyed the rest for dinner.

Harriet & Muriel had nothing but laughs before, during and after lunch.
It's always fun to go out to lunch with a group of friends.

 San Carlos Elms was excited and honored to be apart of the Peninsula Multifaith Coalition again this year.  We were worried how it was going to all pan out, but thanks to a fantastic group of leaders and volunteers it was a huge success!!! We started the morning with an opening ceremony on Zoom celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, featuring guest speakers Rep Jackie Speier , Senator Josh Becker ,and Rev Lorrie Owens  President of San Mateo NAACP . Once we all had our history lesson and the power of community through the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. it was time to get to work.  Cards were created for all of our residents and magazines were donated too. Volunteers created and donated beautiful bouquets of flowers.   They are out spreading cheer for both our Residents and Staff. Thank you Peninsula Multifaith Coalition , we hope we can meet in person next year, but what a wonderful job you all did!!!
