Spring Cards for Our Residents

 Special thanks to Harvard G.S.A.S (Graduate School of Arts and Sciences) and San Carlos Adult Community Center for creating such beautiful cards for us to share with our Residents. It really put a smile on their faces. They enjoyed decorating their shelves with your cards.

Congratulations San Carlos Elms

 Dawn from Kindred Hospice wanted to congratulate San Carlos Elms on their award from Bay Area Parent for being recognized as the Best Senior Assisted Living in the Peninsula.

Today Dawn dropped off individually wrapped cookies for all our hardworking and dedicated staff.

Kindred Hospice has been very supportive for all our residents & staff during this time. They have shared coloring books, word searches, popcorn, crayons, cookies, hand sanitizer, lotion and pens.

 

Thank you Dawn and Kindred Hospice for recognizing us during this time.

Memory Program Activities

 We would like to share some of the activities that our residents in our Memory Program partake in, please enjoy! 

We encourage all of our Residents to showcase their humor during this time.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

 Just because we are socially distancing, doesn't mean we can't have a little fun!

This afternoon we celebrated St. Patrick's Day with Irish Dancing in the Dining Room with the Activity Director and the Servers backing her up.

Then we had fun delivering drinks and goodies to each apartment while the Residents listened to St. Patrick's Day music on our internal house channel.

The Residents are going to enjoy a tasty dinner tonight their choices are Bangers & Mash or Corn Beef Stew.

A special thanks to Arbor Bay School for making each of our Residents a St. Patrick's Day card with a lucky penny!!

100th Birthday Celebration

 We were excited to celebrate Frances' 100th birthday this past week in our Memory Program.

Welcome to the Centenarian Club Frances!!!

Open Internally

 The Residents are excited to be back socializing with their friends, whether it is at a mealtime or some of our activities. We can't thank the Residents, Family and Staff enough for their patience and understanding during such a difficult time.

 

Tillie was so proud of her score, she wanted everyone to see it!

We hope someday soon we can open a little more.

Final Day of Vaccinations

  CVS/Omnicare staff came in today to administer our final round of vaccinations to the last of our Residents and Staff.

Thank you, CVS/Omnicare and Elms staff, for all your hard work!

Our Director of Health Services, Maribel was making sure everything was running smoothly.

Of course with a little fun and music!

Thank you to everyone involved for making sure we received our vaccinations safely.

Monthly Updates with Sydney

 Sydney is a Sophomore volunteer from Carlmont High School. The past two months for her project she has put booklets together with facts about the month along with a craft project she has created for our Residents.
