Activities Safely Happening
Bingo Residents enjoy their Bingo time. We are so happy to have Jeanette back playing Bingo. Guest Speakers Jan brought in her artwork and discussed the "Appreciation of Animals". Her beautiful artwork. Zooming with P.J.C.C. Social visit with the P.J.C.C. thanks to Jane Skinner! Jane is retiring from the P.J.C.C she shared some moments with us over the many years of service with the Peninsula Jewish Community Center. We will miss Jane, but wish her luck on her future endeavors. Current Events We can't forget our most loyal volunteer, Carol! She has had her hands full with everything going on in the news. Happy Father's Day!
Our Resident Fathers and Grandfathers enjoyed a day with a special Chocolate Cigar. Happy Father's Day and enjoy some moments caught on camera. Hope you have a wonderful Father's Day Gene! Bill was happy with his chocolate cigar. Bill was hoping it was a real cigar, but still enjoyed the chocolate. George was happy to pose for a photo. Entertainment Precious always has a wonderful performance prepared for our Residents. Fina loves Precious energy she brings to The Elms. Madeline's performance is always breathtaking. We enjoy her singing, piano skills and of course her fur baby. Round of applause for Madeline. Root Beer Float Social The hot days we have had lately, what could be better than a root beer float. Tillie is enjoying hers to the last drop. Jorge enjoying his float. What could be better than a root beer float with friends on a sweltering day? Funny, how the residents are enjoying their floats with exercise on our in-house channel playing. We all deserve a day off from exercising. Cheers, from Bill! Here at San Carlos Elms, we have a variety of activities. Please enjoy, moments caught on camera. Entertainment Diana is one of our newest vocalist. Our Residents are happy that she will be back again. Welcome to The Elms Diana! Joseph came in to perform for our Residents on behalf of Healthy Living Home Care . Thank you, Joseph, for sharing your talent with our Residents and we look forward to hearing you again. Our Residents enjoyed singing along with Joseph. Board Games Residents enjoyed playing San Carlos-opoly. We have another group of Residents who enjoy playing Kings card game. Monthly Gifts Sydney, a volunteer from Carlmont Highschool, prepared succulents for a group of Residents. She also prepared a lovely booklet with information about the month of June.
